Prerequisite
Chief Gear unlocked at Furnace Lv.22
Chief Charm unlocked at Furnace Lv.25
Tips
Each equipped piece will increase your power along with providing buffs to Troop Attack and Defense.
Cap/Watch: These items increase Lancer Attack and Defense.
Coat/Pants: These items increase Infantry Attack and Defense.
Belt/Weapon: These items increase Marksman Attack and Defense.
You will see a triangular and circular icon on the chief profile page. These are bonuses for equipping three and six pieces of the same quality Gear. Having three pieces of the same quality Gear will raise all three of your Troop’s Defense by x%, while having all six equipped will raise all three of your Troop’s Attack by x%. The percentage bonus increases as you equip better quality Gear.
Enhancing Chief Gear requires two components: Hardened Alloy and Polishing Solution. You can get Hardened Alloy from lv.3 + Polar Terror rallies, hunting lv.22+ Beasts, and the Crazy Joe event. You can get the Polishing Solution from the Crazy Joe event and Frostfire Mine. Alternatively, you can purchase both from the Alliance Championship Shop. Both require Championship Badges which you get from the Alliance Championship event. Hardened Alloy is a 1 for 1 trade while Polishing Solution is a 100 for 1 trade. There is a limited amount of each item you can purchase for each reset of the shop.
From Blue Equipment the Design Plans will be needed to upgrade the Chief Gear. These can be won at a lot of events. They can also be purchased in the Alliance Championship, Foundry, Power Region and Canyon shops.
Starting with Red Equipment, you’ll also need Amber for the following upgrades. These can be obtained through Material Exchanges or Packs.
Upon getting one piece to Mythic T2 3 star you unlock the Enhancement Material Exchange that lets you trade the various chief gear materials for one another.
Charms enhancement requires two elements: Talisman Blueprints and Talisman Guides. You can obtain them at many events, but mainly at the Frostfire Mine and the Castle Battle. You can also buy them in the Foundry, Power Region and Canyon shops.
