Icefire Warhymn League
A half-ice, half-fire arena brought to the Tundra by the Icebreakers — the Icefire Warhymn League (IWL) is a week-long solo tournament where Chiefs battle each other through Qualifier, Elimination, and Pinnacle phases to be crowned the season’s champion. Crucially, no real troops are lost — battles here do not kill or injure your actual troops. Everyone is welcome to compete, from rising contenders to seasoned veterans.

How the Event Works
The Icefire Warhymn League begins with a 24-hour Preview Phase on Sunday, followed by four active phases from Monday to Saturday:
Phase 1 — Sign-Up (Monday & Tuesday)
- Open the Icefire Warhymn League event and tap Sign Up (requires Furnace Level 30+).
- After signing up, you will be invited to set your squad lineup — 3 Formations, each with a hero and troops.
- Once your lineup is configured, troops are automatically filled from your highest-level currently trainable troops. Later eligible stat increases can be updated even while the lineup is locked for the Qualifier.
- ⚠️ Failing to organize any lineup at all will result in an automatic defeat at the start of battle. Always set your squad before Wednesday.

Phase 2 — Qualifier (Wednesday)
- Chiefs battle in up to 10 rounds throughout the day using a point system.
- Accumulate 3 defeats and you are automatically eliminated.
- At the end of the day, all remaining Chiefs are ranked by points from highest to lowest.
- The Top 64 Chiefs in each Zone advance to the Elimination Phase.
- Matches are scheduled across 10 time slots (UTC 12:00 to 21:00). You are automatically matched against an opponent at each slot.
How points are calculated: After each match, the game uses your remaining Battle Power and the enemy’s lost Battle Power, applying its scoring coefficients. A victory awards additional points. The displayed rules do not give the numerical coefficients, so there is no confirmed exact formula here. A defeat can still earn points.
Ties and elimination: When two or more Chiefs have the same score, the Chief who obtained that score first ranks ahead. Three defeats can end your participation before the phase countdown reaches zero.
Use the Rankings screen to view your Zone and switch between Zones. The Zone information shows its participating States. Battle Reports provide match results, replays, and battle details.

Phase 3 — Elimination (Thursday)
The Top 64 Chiefs in each Zone are placed into Groups and compete in a best-of-3 bracket. Three rounds are played throughout the day:
- Round 1 (UTC 10:00) — Top 64 → Top 32
- Round 2 (UTC 16:00) — Top 32 → Top 16
- Round 3 (UTC 22:00) — Top 16 → Top 8
Win 2 out of 3 matches in each round to advance.

Phase 4 — Pinnacle (Friday & Saturday)
The Top 8 Chiefs compete in a best-of-3 format across three final rounds:
- Round 1 – Top 8 (UTC Friday 11:00)
- Round 2 – Top 4 (UTC Friday 23:00)
- Round 3 – Champion Final (UTC Saturday 11:00)
The winner of Saturday’s final is crowned the Season Champion and earns the highest rewards in the event.
Lineup lock: Lineups cannot be adjusted during the final minute before each of these rounds.
Squad & Formation System
Each Chief enters battle with a squad of 3 Formations. Understanding this system is key to competing effectively.
- Each Formation consists of a hero and a set of troops (auto-filled from your strongest trainable tier once the lineup is configured).
- Formations are deployed in the order you set — you can drag to reorder them when lineup editing is available.
- Tap Edit Squad from the main event page to customize each Formation’s hero and troops.
- Your total Battle Power across all 3 Formations determines your overall squad strength.
Note: Formation order can matter strategically.
Automatic updates and locking: Automatic troop filling becomes available after you have configured your lineup. During the Qualifier, the lineup remains locked until the phase ends: you cannot change formations, but increases in the three teams’ Total Power and newly unlocked Troop Skills can still be reflected. Check the current lock message before attempting to rearrange your lineup.
Predictions System
Predictions open from Elimination Round 2 and continue through the Pinnacle phase. Players use Warhymn Testaments to support a contender before that match begins.
- Correct prediction: the reward is Warhymn Testaments equal to twice the number used for the prediction.
- Incorrect prediction: all Warhymn Testaments used for the prediction are returned.
- Limits: for each matchup, players can make up to 5 prediction entries, and each entry can use up to 200 Warhymn Testaments.
- Closing time: predictions cannot be made after the match begins.
- After the event: Warhymn Testaments are retained and remain available for a future occurrence.
Check the current prediction screen for its countdown and your remaining prediction entries before confirming support.
League Missions
Complete League Missions during the event to earn Warhymn Testaments and additional items. Eligible rewards left unclaimed at the end of the event are sent by mail.
The following are examples of individual League Mission milestones. Additional milestones may appear as each mission progresses, so this is not a complete list or a calculation of the total currency available.
| Example mission milestone | Warhymn Testaments |
|---|---|
| Log in for 7 day(s) | 20 |
| Make 150 Alliance Contributions | 10 |
| Gather 70,000,000 resources | 10 |
| Call rallies and hunt down 35 Polar Terrors | 10 |
| Use 7,000 minutes of any Speedup | 10 |
These missions also grant other items. Check each mission in your current event for its full reward list and your progress.
Battle Rewards
Per-match mail rewards
Qualifier battles can award items by mail even when you lose. A Qualifier defeat reward includes:
- 50 Warhymn Testaments
- 1 Treasure Box
- 5 × 10 Enhancement XP Components
This is an observed Qualifier defeat reward, not a reward table for every phase or result.
Win-count chests
The Qualifier screen has a separate win-count reward track. Its tooltip states that each win lets you claim a chest. The visible chest tooltips show:
- 100 Warhymn Testaments
- 1 Lucky Hero Gear Chest
- 1 Treasure Box
- 1 × 100 Enhancement XP Component
These chests are separate from the per-match mail rewards. Check the reward track in your current event for all available claims.
Season Ranking Rewards
Ranking rewards are sent by mail after the event ends. The table below lists the ranking rewards.

The Gem items in the source screen are packs of 100; the table gives their combined value.
Island decoration and Frostflame Knight
The island decoration is named Icefire Way. It is a Mythic 3×3 decoration, with a Type Limit of one. At Level 1 it provides 1,000 Prosperity and +1% Troops’ Defense. The displayed levels increase by 1,000 Prosperity and one percentage point of defense per level, reaching 10,000 Prosperity and +10% Troops’ Defense at Level 10. Awarded copies are stored in the Island Storehouse.
The Frostflame Knight City Skin is awarded for 30, 14, or 7 days depending on placement. The 30-day version provides Troops’ Attack +2.0% as a Stat Bonus activated upon acquisition.
The bonuses above describe the item details; they are not a list of buffs that apply inside IWL battles.
State Rewards
Chiefs can receive a set of rewards corresponding to the ranking of a Top 16 competitor from their State if they:
- Belong to the same State as that competitor;
- Have logged in during the event; and
- Have a Furnace at Level 20 or above.
State Transfer: if a Chief reaches the Top 16 after transferring, the rewards go to the State they belonged to before the transfer. State rewards are delivered by mail.
The State Rewards are:
| Competitor’s rank | Fire Crystals | Mythic General Hero Shards | 100 Enhancement XP Components | Treasure Boxes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 25 | 3 | 5 | 5 |
| 2 | 20 | 2 | 4 | 4 |

| 5–8 | 10 | — | 2 | 2 |
| 9–16 | 5 | — | 1 | 1 |
League Shop
Spend Warhymn Testaments in the League Shop. The currency does not expire, so you can keep it and redeem items when the event returns.
Selected League Shop offers are listed below. The in-game English screen labels the final column as each offer’s Limit.
| Item per exchange | Cost in Testaments | Purchase limit shown |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Icefire Way Lv. 1 | 8,000 | 1 |
| 1 Mythic General Hero Shard | 100 | 20 |
| 10 Fire Crystals | 50 | 15 |
| 5 × 1-hour speedups | 80 | 30 |
The shop also shows additional gear materials, chests, and other items. Open each item in your event to verify its name, contents, price, and availability before exchanging.
Important Reminders
- Configure your lineup first: automatic troop filling only applies after setup. Having troops available for automatic filling does not mean the lineup itself has been configured.
- Prepare before the lock: the Qualifier locks your lineup for the phase, while the Pinnacle has a one-minute pre-round lock.
- Points and wins are different: wins award bonus points and unlock chests, but Qualifier ranking also considers the power-based scoring rules.
- Check both reward sources: match rewards arrive by mail, while win-count chests have their own reward track.
- Read the time label: UTC schedule times and locally displayed mail timestamps should not be treated as the same time zone.
- Keep unused Testaments: they carry over. A reward mail’s expiry date is not the currency’s expiry date.
- Confirm current values: check the in-game reward and shop screens before making exchange decisions.
