What is it?

Snowbusters event allows players to play a mini game similar to one of the iconic ads that drew players in to playing Whiteout Survival. Along the way, can gain rewards with fun, easy effort to continue to grow and develop your account.

Objective

1. Consume fuel to blow through snow to find people and objects
2. Rescue survivors and have them join your snowbusting team for that level
3. Collect coal to level up the fire to increase health regeneration
4. Defeat beasts and snowpeople that drop larger amounts of coal and/or fuel
5. Clear 95% of snow to use a rocket to auto clear the rest and move onto the next level

Tips

• Rescue survivors first because each additional survivor increases range of your snowbuster weapon
• Watch your health! If it goes down to zero, you drop all your coal and only 90% can be picked up again.
• Watch fuel consumption—no fuel, no snowbusting and must wait for fuel to regenerate or buy packs that give more fuel. (Fuel regenerates at a base rate of 12 fuel points every 5 minutes during the event)
• While you can feed your fire to increase health regeneration, if you can hold off on doing so, you can save your coal for the end of the level when extra coal is turned into fuel. This can be a fantastic way to gain extra fuel every level.

• There are several bonus items you can find and use to help achieve your goals:
  • Super Snowbuster: Expands range and +20% Movement Speed for 20s
  • Ultra Magnet: Loot radius expanded for 30s
  • Infini-Fuel: Endless Fuel for snow-clearing/attacking Beasts/Snowmen/Survivor rescue for 20s
  • Portable Snowshield: Blocks 3 beast attack and/or snowstorm damage occurrences
  • Medkit: Restores 40% of Max Health
  • Rocket: Removes all snow within a certain area
• These six items are stackable. It is highly recommended to stack the Super Snowbuster and Infini-Fuel skills, Rocket and Magnet skills, Portable Snowshield and Medkit skills (preferably with having directed beasts toward them).

Snowbuster Gear

Upgrade Snowbuster Gear as each gear piece helps with different aspects of the event mini game

• • Snowbuster: increases attack and snowbuster range
  • Gloves: increases health and decreases fuel use per second
  • Coat: increases damage mitigation and fuel recovery up rate
  • Boots: increases movement speed and fire health regen rate per second

Other Things of Note

• Every 5 levels there is an easy levels where you’re given one Infini-Fuel, plus multiple Rockets, Ultra Magnets and Super Snowbusters throughout for an easy clear level. Try and clear it quickly with the Infini-Fuel active to save fuel for the regular levels.
• Unused Rocket V2 can be kept in your backpack for future Snowbusters events.
• Opened fuel does not keep. Use what you have or it will be lost. Only fuel supply chest items will remain in backpack, so don’t open what you cannot use.
• Snowbuster gear resets after the conclusion of each iteration of the event.
• Like with many other events, there are two passes that can be purchased for $5 and $10, respectively, and subject to vary based on your currency conversion, to gain extra rewards as you progress through the event.

• By defeating beasts, you can collect theme pictures. Each pictures comes with gems and stars—the stars are the important thing as collecting them is important towards unlocking free Snowbusters themed city, march, frame and nameplate skins.
  • Please note the theme for each Snowbusters event as only map fragments for that theme can be found.
  • There are only a select amount of stars per theme.
  • The themes rotate similar to how fishing tournament event seasons rotate.
  • Extra theme pictures are converted into map fragments which can be used via “Map Search” to find either missing theme pictures or other items for building up your account.

•  A new Snowbusters island building is introduced! It can be earned at the 20 star milestone of the encyclopedia page and the completion of certain levels of the event.
  • Note that the Snowbusters event island building cannot be levelled with island mythic general shards, only from building pieces earned from this event.
